The Spice & Tea Exchange began in St. Augustine, Florida in 2005 as a store called Old Spice Traders and is now a growing chain with locations throughout 26 states. Payment methods and bank integrations

For the US Market, Erply supports 4 merchant account providers: Adyen, TSYS, Worldpay and Shift4. Both Stationary and mobile payment devices are support for all providers.

 

Hardware integrations

Don’t let hardware hold You up. Erply makes it easy to get selling selling fast. If you are currently using another point of sale system, Erply may already work with your existing devices. Erply runs on any device with a web browser, and also provides apps for iOS and Android. Therefore your tablet, desktop or laptop can be transformed to a work station fast.

Erply works on all of the most popular platforms, for workstation use you can use Windows, macOS or Linux, and for the mobile environment we have native applications on both Android and iOS. All the applications are region specific.

Taxes and currencies

Erply supports all US City/State/County tax regulations. We also support price based taxing. In some locations, some items are taxed differently for the portion of the item’s price that is over a set threshold. This taxing method is used in Massachusetts, for example, for certain product categories.

If an item’s sales price is over a certain threshold, then the value below the threshold is taxed with one rate (which can also be 0%) and the value above the threshold is taxed at a different rate.

Tiered tax rates are set up at shop level (Location), and are a lower priority than product group rates. Tiered taxes are used in the state of New York, for example; an item’s tax rate depends on its retail price. https://wiki.erply.com/article/420-tax-rates-within-erply

Erply supports all the worlds currencies, for all US accounts the default currency is US Dollar. Additional currencies and languages can be added to US accounts.
